Please join the Hickory High School Orchestras for their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 22nd at 7:00pm in the HHS Auditorium. Chamber students should arrive at 5:50pm to rehearse in the auditorium at 6:00pm. Symphony and 9th grade students should arrive by 6:30pm. Admission is free.
All students and parents going on the New York City trip are expected to attend the official trip meeting on Tuesday, March 27th at 7:00pm in the HHS Orchestra Room. The final itinerary will be given along with all details of the trip.
Congratulations to both the Hickory String Symphony and the Hickory Chamber Orchestra for earning superior ratings at the District IV Orchestra Assessment at Oscar Smith High School on March 2nd and 3rd. I am so proud of the hard work from each student who participated. Mr. Parrish

5:15pm – Leave HHS
6:30pm – Perform at OSHS
8:00pm – Return to HHS
Saturday, March 3rd (Hickory Chamber Orchestra)
12:45pm – Leave HHS
2:15pm – Perform at OSHS
4:00pm – Return to HHS
Please join the Hickory High School orchestras for our Winter Concert on Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00pm in the HHS Auditorium. Students should arrive no later than 6:30pm dressed in concert black. Admission is free and open to the public.
Plan to come out to the Texas Roadhouse near Wal-Mart in Greenbrier for dinner on Wednesday, February 1st between 4 – 10pm. The Hickory Orchestra will receive 10% receipts of all food sold from HHS Orchestra patrons that evening.
Pizza Kits are being delivered this Wednesday, January 18th in the afternoon. Pick up is between 3:45 – 6:00pm in the orchestra room. Items are perishable and cannot be left overnight.
Students have received their pizza kit fundraiser forms. All profit from these sales will go directly into the students’ accounts. Please return all forms and checks (made payable to HHOI) by Wednesday, January 4th.
Depending on what time they deliver we will try to have all items bagged for easy pick-up. If you would like to volunteer and help sort items, please call Jennifer Pearson at 482-6503 or 646-1281.
